Harper’s Bazaar Literary Salon
Harper’s Bazaar, the world’s longest-established fashion magazine, has launched The Bazaar Literary Salon – a new event where Bazaar readers will be able to connect with highly acclaimed female authors, publishers and agents.
Taking place on Sunday 20 May 2018 in the private members’ club, The Ned, London, the one-day literary salon will feature insightful talks and panel discussions with prestigious female novelists who are regular contributors to the magazine.
Confirmed speakers include the acclaimed authors Ali Smith, Jessie Burton, Elif Shafak and Tessa Hadley. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from publishing industry experts such as Bloomsbury group editor-in-chief Alexandra Pringle and the literary agent Karolina Sutton, who represents clients such as Margaret Atwood and Malala Yousafzai.
The Bazaar Literary Salon is part of Hearst UK’s wider Big Book initiative, which aims to recognise the best new fiction and non-fiction titles in UK publishing.
